The APRAA Accreditation program is a quality rating system designed to recognize and encourage constant improvement of general business standards within the Auto Parts Recycling industry.

It is based on the universally-recognized "Star Rating System" currently utilised within many other service industries, incorporating five levels of grading from one * to five ***** stars.

Mazford is 5 Star Accredited

The program has been designed to offer Australian auto parts consumers; motor trade and retail, a new level of service, as well as economic and environmental benefits.

APRAA members who have joined the program have been rated on a wide range of consumer, industrial and environmental criteria, including:

  • Business and Staff Presentation
  • Minimum Warranty provisions
  • Terms & Conditions of Sale
  • Credit Facilities
  • Part Quality & Descriptions
  • Stock Inventory Management
  • Delivery Service
  • Staff Training
  • Safety Requirements
  • Complaint Handling Procedures
  • Environmental Procedures, inc. Total Vehicle Fluid Management

Members who have achieved the ***** star accreditation have met the highest standards of these criteria and have been audited by an independent industry auditor.

APRAA Accreditation & the Motor Trade

"The smash repair trade and motor insurance industry can expect a quality of parts and service that will provide the confidence required to quote on the use of more recycled parts."

Many issues identified as barriers limiting the use of recycled parts of "like kind and quality", have been addressed in this program, including:

  • Parts descriptions
  • Predictable availability
  • Delivery times
  • Warranty conditions

Each accreditation level requires members to meet certain performance standards in these crucial areas.

Using more recycled, like kind and quality, repair parts offers you the ability to:

  • save more jobs from being written off due to lower parts costs
  • keep your tradesmen productive
  • meet your, and your client's, environmental and recycling expectations
