We all need sunlight to produce vitamin D3 which is important for healthy bones. Sunbathing therefore has a beneficial effect in the
treatment of osteoporosis.
Many will experience relief from muscle aches and rheumatic complaints after a few sessions in a sunbed. There are also indications that
sunbathing may have beneficial effects on metabolism, blood pressure and cholesterol levels. But the greatest effect solar rays
have, seem to be on our mood: it makes us happier and more energetic and it is an excellent cure for stress and fatigue!
