All tattoos will gradually wear and fade a little, but this is not always the direct result of ultraviolet
rays. Some colours of ink, however, especially green and red, can cause an allergic reaction when
combined with sunlight. To avoid this, it is best to protect tattoos in the sun or on a sunbed with sunblock.
